A meticulously hand-carved sterling hobbit door featuring a brass doorknob. The wood texture was created using hand tools, because of this each door is completely unique. The border is a solid ring of silver, hammered and filed to create the texture of stones and mortar.

You have the option to choose between a sterling silver or a copper door. Both have a brass doorknob and silver stonework. The price difference is due to the significant difference in the cost of the raw materials used in each version.

These necklaces have become my signature design. I've worked to hone this design into one that is light and wearable, but large enough to be noticed. The pendants are approximately 1 1/4 inch in diameter, and rest on a 20 inch chain.

Please note that some folks will notice a slight discoloration when wearing metals such as copper and brass directly against their skin, especially if they are sweating. This discoloration is natural, harmless, and washes off easily with soap and water.

A note on wearing

While I craft each piece to be as durable as possible, it is still made from natural materials by hand. Silver is one of the softer metals, and can scratch and bend when put under strain or treated roughly.
